JACKSON, Wyo. — ON Friday, Dec. 16, St. John’s Health (SJH) Foundation announced Evan Jones, Patricia Robertson and Dr. Martin Trott as new members of the Foundations board of directors.

The Board approved the new members during its Dec. 15 meeting.

“We are thrilled to add three talented, thoughtful and dynamic directors to our board. They are perfectly poised to help the Foundation achieve our significant fundraising goals for the upcoming Hitching Post redevelopment project and many other areas of stewardship and clinical excellence” said Foundation President Anna Olson in a prepared press release posted to the SJH website.

Board Chair Jane Hopkins Carey said, “We are fortunate that these three individuals have decided to invest their time and energy in the important work the Foundation does to support St. John’s Health. We believe that helping the hospital be the best it can possibly be is central to building a strong and sustainable community here in Jackson Hole.”

This past election cycle, Jones ran for a seat on the SJH board of trustees, winning 2,401 total votes, not enough to win back the seat he was appointed to last April.

Robertson has a background in finance and has held titles such as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at other healthcare facilities. Robertson’s husband, Dave, recently served as the interim CEO at SJH.

Dr. Trott runs the St. John’s Health ENT and Hearing Clinic. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

According to SJH Foundation, their mission is to secure philanthropic support to advance the mission and strategic objectives of St. John’s Health, including patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and community wellness.
