UPDATE: An alert from Teton County Emergency Management announced that the gas leak had been repaired and that the road was open to traffic as of 2:41 p.m. Original story follows.
JACKSON, Wyo. — Part of W. Simpson Ave. is closed due to a gas leak, according to an emergency alert by Teton County sent on Wednesday afternoon.
The road is closed between S Millward St. and S Glenwood St. until further notice, the alert reads. Drivers in the area should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
As of 2:15 p.m., representatives from Lower Valley Energy, Jackson Hole Fire/EMS and law enforcement were on the scene to assess the issue.
