JACKSON, Wyo. – Grammy-nominated “powerhouse acoustic duo” Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley will bring “Living in a Song Tour” to the historic Wort Hotel‘s Silver Dollar Showroom Sessions on March 16.

The duo is known for their white-hot picking, stone-country vocals with soul and blend of music that defies genre. They meld together blues, bluegrass, country and rock to form a signature sound they perform with world class live musicianship.

15-time International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Dobro Player of the Year Ickes co-founded the highly influential bluegrass group Blue Highway and has been an A-team Nashville session player and performing musician for decades. “Nashville’s hottest young player,” Hensley has guitar prowess and baritone vocals that have been distinctly recognizable since he made his debut on The Grand Ole Opry at age 11.

Ickes and Hensley have collaborated and performed with a vast number of notable musicians including Tommy Emmanuel, Taj Mahal, David Grisman, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Marty Stuart and Steve Wariner. They have also been nominated for a Grammy for their first album together.

The two musicians are currently touring in support of their fourth record titled “Living in a Song,” which is already creating critical buss in the industry.

Tickets are $150 per seat, available by the table or barstool, and are extremely limited. They can be purchased online Feb 24 at 10 a.m..

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. followed by the performance.
