JACKSON, Wyo. — Cyclists, rejoice!
Grand Teton National Park (GTNP) announced the launch of the Sagebrush Pathway Connector project, which will link the park’s pathway system to the Jackson Hole Community Pathway system.

Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to get from Gros Ventre Junction to Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis on a protected 0.8-mile pathway without having to walk directly in the roadway, as some do now. The project is expected to be completed next summer.
In the project announcement, GTNP said the route is designed to “enhance recreational opportunities, improve safety for both pedestrians and vehicles, [and] strengthen our community’s transportation network.”
The project is a collaboration by the park, Teton County and Friends of Pathways. It has been in the works for the past few years.
