JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County has launched a search for the next Board of County Commissioners’ administrator, and is inviting qualified professionals to apply.

In a Wednesday announcement, the county stated that the leadership role supports the five-member Board and provides guidance for County operations. An ideal candidate would have experience in public administration, organizational management skills, and a commitment to transparency and collaboration.

“The Commissioners’ administrator provides strategic leadership and operational oversight and advises the Board of County Commissioners on policy development, organizational priorities, and long-range planning,” Teton County wrote. “Additionally, the administrator assists with managing the County budget process, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with Board objectives.”

A detailed description of the position’s duties, salary and benefits is available on Teton County’s website.

The County is preparing to fill the role after longtime staffer Jodie Pond announced that she plans to retire later this year.
