JACKSON, Wyo. — On Saturday afternoon, Teton County Search and Rescue (TCSAR) volunteers responded to a call about a young girl with a severe leg injury due to a snowmobile accident on Togwotee Pass.

The patient complained of being cold, in pain, and described her leg as numb. Volunteers responded with a RZR, snowmobiles and a helicopter.

Following the 3:53 p.m. alert, the heli team made contact with the reporting party and landed near the patient. The team then packaged her and transported her to a waiting ambulance. The rescue mission was completed in under four hours.

She's a lover of alliteration, easy-to-follow recipes and board games when everyone knows the rules. Her favorite aspect about living in the Tetons is the collective admiration that Wyomingites share for the land and the life that it sustains.
