JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Search and Rescue was called to help a woman who fell and injured her hip while hiking a trail near Old Pass Road Wednesday evening.
A rescue crew drove a Side-by-Side UTV and dispatched a ground team to assess the patient. They transported her to the trailhead via wheeled litter by 8:30 p.m., where a friend met her and took her to get further medical treatment.
TCSAR also responded to a call regarding an injured mountain biker on the Fuzzy Bunny trail on Teton Pass Sunday. The biker had broken their ankle. It was the second time TCSAR had been dispatched to Fuzzy Bunny, the third time they’ve been called to Teton Pass, and the fourth mountain bike rescue this summer.
TCSAR reminds trail users to exercise caution this summer, especially during the pandemic.
