JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Jackson Hole High School hosted the annual Scholarship night on Tuesday, April 23. Local organizations, businesses and individuals granted $820,000 in scholarships to more than 150 Teton County seniors. That was well over last year’s total of $690,000 of scholarship money donated.

“This is a time to celebrate student accomplishments and plans; to honor achievements, goals, and experiences. These scholarships provide clear evidence of the pride our community takes in our students and their education,” JHHS counselor Emily Hoffer stated. “We are so appreciative of our partners—not only for the financial investment they make, but for the hours they spend reading student applications, reviewing artwork, sitting on interview committees, and making the often tough decision to pick just one or two. To students these awards represent monetary support as well as belief in them and their futures.”

TCSD recognizes and honors the scholarship recipients and the generous community members who are supporting these students as they start on their post-secondary path.

Rotary Club was one of dozens of local businesses and nonprofits to bestow big bucks for seniors’ post-secondary paths. (TCSD)
