JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Search and Rescue is responding to an avalanche on Taylor Mountain.

One person is still missing after two snowboarders triggered the slide on the south-facing side of the mountain at around 2:45 p.m. TCSAR got the call at 3:20 p.m.

Bad weather is prohibiting a helicopter rescue, so rescuers are approaching from the ground.

This is a developing story. Buckrail will update with more information as it becomes available.
