JACKSON, Wyo. — While heart disease continues to be the world’s leading cause of death, research shows that joy and laughter can actually boost heart health. That’s exactly what Rock On Society is bringing to the table with this year’s Rock The Ride.

The 8th Annual indoor cycling event, happening on Saturday, March 8, promises an unforgettable evening of dancing, costumes, fitness, food, entertainment and, most importantly, fundraising to support local stroke and cardiac care.

Since its inception in 2016, Rock The Ride has raised over $350,000, directly supporting individuals impacted by heart disease and stroke. Founder Julie Guttormson, a stroke survivor herself, understands the importance of access to care. Her personal journey led to the creation of Rock The Ride and the founding of Rock On Society in 2022, ensuring heart-healthy resources are available to all.

This year, Rock The Ride supports the new “Heart Strong Future” Grant, which helps local organizations advancing stroke and cardiac care, and the “Heart Strong Recovery” Micro Grant, providing financial assistance to stroke and cardiac victims with medical expenses.

Entertainment Like No Other:

  • The Teton Juggler: A local celebrity and Rock The Ride favorite, the Teton Juggler will return for his third year to amaze everyone with his jaw-dropping juggling skills.
  • Guest Artists from CDW: Local dancers from CDW will add even more magic to the night.

  • Participation Trophy: ROS will feed you, hydrate you and give away amazing prizes. Everyone leaves with a shiny new HydroJug to remember the magic you helped create for many years to come.
  • Raffle: Enter for a chance to win one of several prize packages courtesy of our generous local sponsors.
  • Prizes: Awarded for the highest fundraising totals, most spirited teams, best costumes, most creative fundraising, most mileage and least mileage.

Heart-Healthy Joy:

Some teams go all-out with costumes, some don’t. Some raise or donate big, some rally in the final hour.

“We believe everyone who attends brings something to the table,” says Guttormson. “This isn’t just an event; it’s an experience—the kind you didn’t even know you needed! Joy and laughter reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and boost blood flow, all while releasing endorphins that improve your mood and help you feel great. Creating joy for the community has always been a priority for Rock On Society, and this year’s Rock The Ride will deliver just that—fun that benefits both the heart and the soul. And who couldn’t use a little of that?”
