JACKSON, Wyo. — The Rock On Society announces the 2nd Annual Rock The Block, taking place this Sunday, Oct. 6, at Movieworks Plaza. This vibrant community gathering promises a day filled with fall family fun, fitness, food and philanthropy. Celebrate the change of seasons with a cozy, autumn-themed block party featuring fitness classes for all ages, adoptable pets, festive crafts, music and activities for the whole family, all aimed at promoting cardiovascular health and fostering community spirit.
- Heart-healthy fitness classes start at 8:45 a.m.
- Interactive classes with kittens from PAWS start at 11:15 a.m.
- Official Block Party from noon to 3 p.m.
Kick off the day with a variety of heart-healthy, donation-based fitness classes at VIM Fitness Studio. Don’t miss the unique KITTIES + DURABILITY class at 11:15 a.m., a disco-themed mobility session featuring adorable kittens from PAWS available for adoption. These furry friends will add a delightful twist to the workout as they tiptoe around or nap on participants. For the little ones, AUTUMN PAWS: CARDIO KIDS + STRETCH at 12:30 p.m. (ages 3+) offers an exciting fitness journey with an obstacle course and a calming stretch, all in the company of kittens up for adoption. The fun continues with a Block Party from 12 to 3 p.m.. At the Meridian Trust booth, whip up a smoothie on the Hoback Sports blender bike and enjoy a round of cornhole. Graze Garden & Home invites the community to create a beautiful fall wreath for $40, with a portion of the proceeds supporting Rock On Society. Shop for heirloom pumpkins, stunning corn stalks, fall bulbs and decor for the home. Sunshine Station offers pumpkin decorating for the whole family at $15 per pumpkin, with $5 benefiting Rock On Society.
Visit the PAWS booth to meet kittens up for adoption, participate in animal-inspired crafts and enter a raffle. Come play with the JH Children’s Museum Imagination Playground and learn to skateboard with Carving the Future. Stop by JH Mobile Massage for some therapeutic relaxation and check out IKSPLOR for deals on base layers for the whole family.
Stop at the photo booth by Say Cheese Company to snap a pic of the fun, festive day. Add in food and seasonal drinks from Pinky G’s Food Truck, Snake River Roasting Co. and Snake River Brewing, and it will be an autumn afternoon not to miss!
