WILSON, Wyo. — Teton County/Jackson Parks & Recreation announced Friday that the new restrooms at the Wilson Boat Ramp are open.

The new restrooms are the first project to be completed at the Wilson Boat Ramp redevelopment project.

The project includes the paving of the access road, a portion of the levee and the construction of a one-way loop, totaling 49,855 square feet of roadway. Twenty-eight parking spots including two ADA-compliant spots will be painted on the roadway.

Staff would like to remind the public to be aware of ongoing construction work adjacent to the restrooms and to follow construction fencing to access the restrooms. The boat ramp is open during construction.

According to the press release issued by the County, the other projects will be completed by the Spring of 2024, following seasonal closures.

Last week, Parks and Rec Director Steve Ashworth confirmed with Buckrail that the project continues to be on schedule. Seasonal closures were amended from Nov. 1 to May 15 to Dec. 1 through March 15.
