WILSON, Wyo. — Don’t forget! The weekend-long closure of Teton Pass is set to begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 27, and to be lifted at 6 a.m. on Monday, June 30.

Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) and Ames Construction crews will be working around the clock to pave the final stretch of the roadway at the Big Fill Slide detour site. Pass commuters will have to use US26 through Swan Valley and the Snake River Canyon while the road is closed.

During the closure, cyclists and recreationists can access Coal Creek Campground on the west side and the top of Teton Pass from the east side. WYDOT requests that people in the area be cautious and aware of heavy trucks traveling to and from the work site and not to descend west toward the construction site.

Drivers can sign up for 511 Notify alerts here to be notified when the road reopens. See WYDOT’s Teton Pass webcam for conditions, and the travel map for additional details.
