JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County/Jackson Community Recreation Center (Rec Center) announced on Thursday, April 3, that the aquatic’s center sauna is currently closed to allow for the installation of a modern replacement.

The entire aquatics center is closed through Sunday, April 6. The sauna will reopen when the construction project is complete.

According to the Rec Center, the new sauna will “offer a more comfortable, efficient and updated experience for all users.”

The sauna reconstruction is part of an ongoing effort to enhance the quality and accessibility of amenities at the Rec Center, per the announcement.

Rec Center staff said via press release that they recognize the inconvenience of the closure and will provide an update when the project is completed, and the sauna reopens.
