JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Parks & Recreation (Parks & Rec) announced on Wednesday, March 19, that the aquatic center and climbing gym at the Teton County/Jackson Recreation Center will have an alternate schedule during spring break to allow staff to deep clean, perform necessary routine maintenance and conduct repair work.

According to the Teton County School District #1 schedule, schools close for spring break from Monday, March 24, until Friday, April 4.

Parks & Rec said via press release that the pool area will be closed Sunday, March 23, through Sunday, April 6, for maintenance and repair work. The climbing wall will also be closed Thursday, April 3, through Saturday, April 5.

The Recreation Center’s schedule during Spring Break is as follows:

  • Climbing gym: Open March 22 until April 2, and on April 6
    • Hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday
  • Gymnasium and fitness mezzanine: Open all of spring break from Sunday, March 23 until Sunday, April 6
    • Hours: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday
  • Fitness class schedules can vary
