JACKSON, Wyo. — Whether it’s a sunny afternoon or a rainy day in the Tetons, the Jackson Hole Children’s Museum is the perfect answer to the question, “What should we do today?” The Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed Sunday and Monday). Visit us at our new home at 105 Mercill Avenue.
Inside the museum, children (and their caregivers) can explore the one-of-a-kind, artist-built environment inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of Jackson Hole and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. The Meadow Market, one of the museum’s most popular exhibits, resembles a classic farmer’s market with vegetable and food stands. Over in the ReCreate Studio, visitors can explore the maker space of their dreams, complete with an amazing collection of art supplies, tools and recycled materials to create one-of-a-kind works of art.
Whether you’re a Jackson Hole local or visiting for the first time, stop in for an hour or spend the afternoon exploring together. The Jackson Hole Children’s Museum encourages children to follow their curiosity and learn by doing.
