WILSON, Wyo. — Welcome, summer!

The Jackson Hole Land Trust’s annual R Park Solstice Celebration will be held on Friday, June 20, from 4 to 7 p.m., offering the community a chance to soak up the new season with live music, free empanadas and churros, yoga led in English and Spanish, and paddleboard and kayak demos on the pond.

The free event will also host nonprofit booths by Wyoming Stargazing, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Snake River Fund, JH Public Art, Teton Adaptive and Teton County Weed and Pest, providing opportunities for attendees to engage with nature, science, recreation and conservation.

“The solstice celebration is a joyful tribute to all that we love about summer — long, sun-filled days of swimming, fishing and spending time together in the beauty of open space,” JHLT Community Conservation Associate Molly Broom said in the event announcement.
