Police Log: Recent Calls For Service

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Here are some recent calls for service in Teton County/Jackson from the dispatch log. Names may be withheld at the request of law enforcement. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filing from the Teton County Attorney’s Office.

Male and Female were in an argument. Female tried to leave, Male prevented Female from leaving by hitting her multiple times and dragging her on the ground and picking her up and throwing her on the ground. Male was taken into custody and charged for Domestic Battery and False Imprisonment.

Man parked his truck in a parking lot overnight. When he returned he discovered his hitch had been stolen from off his truck.

A collision was alleged to have happened in a grocery store parking lot. The collision was not reported at the time, resulting in a hit and run. The collision was reported approximately a week and a half after it was alleged.

Male driver ran a stop sign. Male had a traffic warrant out of Sublette County. Male was arrested on warrant and given written warning for traffic violation.

Two men contacted for open containers in public parking lot admitted to having marijuana pipes. Pipes were taken for destruction.

Juvenile female ran away in the morning. Reported to law enforcement at approximately 1800. Runaway possibly in Driggs Idaho.

Officers responded to a disturbance. Subject was arrested for domestic battery, probation violation, and interference with police officers.

Officer made contact with a subject sitting in a vehicle at a local business. Indicators were noticed that the subject was possibly intoxicated. FST’s were taken. Driver was arrested for DWUI.

Female was walking down the trail near the base of Snow King when she was bit on the left elbow by a dog being walked uphill on a retractable lead by another female.

Juvenile left home and was reported as possibly suicidal. Juvenile was found by a family member and brought home. Parents transported juvenile to the emergency room for help.
