Police Log: Recent Calls For Service
JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Here are some recent calls for service in Teton County/Jackson from the dispatch log. Names may be withheld at the request of law enforcement. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filing from the Teton County Attorney’s Office.
An intoxicated male subject was wandering around the parking lots of businesses. Had no safe way home, lied to officer about staying with a friend, and slurred speech, poor balance, no phone, smelled of an alcoholic beverage. Male was so intoxicated he could not put cards back in his own wallet. He was arrested for Public Intoxication.
Stroller found on the street adjacent to the location. Owner later called Dispatch and the stroller was returned to the owner.
Traffic stop for cell phone violation. Warrant arrest.
Warrant service. Arrestee Eugene Coriell was booked into jail on an outstanding warrant.
Complainant called to report an abandoned golf cart in the driveway of her residence. Officers responded and found the golf cart belonged to a neighbor that lived two houses down. Neighbor was contacted and stated he did not know how the golf cart ended up in the neighbor’s driveway and speculated that an unknown suspect exercised unauthorized control of said cart. The golf cart and its owner were reunited.
Pedestrian was crossing Cache St. when he was struck by a motor vehicle north bound. Pedestrian was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Officer responded to a reported runaway juvenile. No information at this time as to where the subject is located. Subject is believed to be in the Jackson area and not in any danger.
