Reported male subject passed out on bench at bus stop. Subject was found to be intoxicated and unable to care for his own needs. Subject was arrested for Public Intoxication.

Officers investigated the odor of marijuana and located the source to be an apartment. After contacting the residents within the apartment, a search warrant was applied for and granted. Controlled substances were located within the apartment.

Male requested a civil standby to pick up effects from his business. Male had an active warrant. Male was arrested at the business.
ICE has been to Jackson again, detaining multiple individuals. One man, Eduardo Rodriguez-Carrillo, 32, was arrested at his job at Maverick and booked briefly in the county jail before being transferred to a federal facility.

Someone who had been claiming to be a representative for Verizon contacted a local individual trying to get his personal information. The person claiming to be from Verizon ordered three phones and had it shipped to a local Motel. The investigation is ongoing.

A local gas station attendant found a glass pipe and a plastic container with marijuana inside it in one of the trash cans. No leads at this time.

An individual tried to use an ATM in a local bank. The ATM did not give the individual the money after the transaction. The individual then got angry and broke the door hinge on the bank as he left.

While on patrol officers observed a vehicle with the driver’s side brake light out. Officers performed a traffic stop on the vehicle and it was discovered the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was arrested for driving under suspension.
