Officer initiated a traffic stop for a turning lane violation. Male driver was arrested for DWUI, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Suspended License.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a local apartment complex. Upon arrival Officers made contact with an individual that appeared to be intoxicated. An investigation was done and the individual was arrested for public intoxication. The individual was on release orders from circuit court with possess or consume no alcohol terms.

Subject riding bike on bike path against the flow of traffic was hit by a vehicle attempting to make a left turn out of a business parking lot. Subject on bike was slightly injured, but did not require medical attention. Only description on vehicle is a white SUV. No license plate information.

Officers responded to a report of two individuals that were having trouble walking down the street. When officers contacted the individuals it was found that they were intoxicated. The male individual was arrested for public intoxication and the female individual received a cab ride to a local hotel.

A vehicle was stopped for violating the “move over law.” A free sniff with a certified narcotics K9 concluded with an alert. The vehicle was searched and a small amount of marijuana was located. The driver was cited and released for the possession and warned for failing to move over for a parked emergency vehicle.

Idaho falls Police Department forwarded a case of forgery to Jackson Police. A personal check was reported stolen to them and an identified female cashed the check at a local Jackson bank. $500.00 loss.

The tenants of a local residence stored various items on land adjacent to theirs across a disputed property line. Officers responded as the owner of the adjacent land was removing their items in preparation to sell his parcel. Officers stood by and made sure no persons were injured during the disturbance and referred both parties to civil court for grievances.

Wort Hotel employees called police to report a disturbance of an intoxicated male yelling at customers. The male was located and arrested for breach of peace and public intoxication.
