All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filing from the Teton County Attorney’s Office.
May 12, 11:03 am – Suspicious Circumstances
Victim reported being harassed by another family who alleged they committed a crime. Information report.
May 12, 11:51 am – Drug Offense
Suspected marijuana found and turned in to police department for destruction.
May 13, 12:42 am – Minor Under Influence
Officers observed female in the bar. She was recognized as someone officers had met previously, and who had told them she was under 21. Officers contacted the female and found her to be under the influence of alcohol. Officers cited and released juvenile to parents.
May 13, 1:27 am – Public Intox
Officer contacted man who was stumbling down sidewalk and who nearly fell. Subject was intoxicated, had poor balance, and could not provide basic information to get him home. As a result, 25-year-old Brendan Madden of Jackson, WY was arrested for public intoxication.
May 13, 7:06 am – Found Property
A ball cap and wallet were found and turned into the police department.
May 13, 5:12 pm – Found Property
A wallet was found.
May 13, 6:15 pm – Public Intox
Officers responded to an intoxicated subject being belligerent with other people in the area. Officers contacted the subject, who admitted to yelling at people. Officers observed he was intoxicated and was unsteady on his feet. They also found the subject was on Release Orders with orders not to consume alcohol. As a result, Jeremiah Sinarski of Jackson was arrested for Public Intoxication.
May 14, 12:55 am – Trespass
Subject was contacted by police for stealing a bottle of alcohol from a bar. The subject was trespassed from the property.
May 14, 7:31 am – Animal Lost
The owner of two horses left them penned at the Teton County Fair Grounds. Sometime during the night, the horses escaped their pen and have not been found.
May 14, 4:50 pm – Warrant
The person who reported their horses missing was found to have an active warrant out of Fremont County, Wyoming. Shyla Nicholas, of Ft. Washakie, was arrested on the warrant.
