JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. – Here are some recent calls for service in Teton County/Jackson from the dispatch log. Names may be withheld at the request of law enforcement. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filing from the Teton County Attorney’s Office.

Comments: Officer responded to a reported male subject who appeared to be intoxicated sitting in a vehicle at the grocery store. Subject was located and found to be driving intoxicated. Subject was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of alcohol.

Comments: A man was found loitering in the parking garage late at night. He was contacted by law enforcement and found to have a warrant. The man was arrested for the warrant without issue.

Comments: Officer conducted a traffic stop and during the investigation found the driver to be intoxicated. Driver was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of alcohol.

Comments: A woman texted her boss stating she was intending to commit suicide. The woman had taken several Xanax pills and drank a significant amount of Irish whiskey. The woman was found by law enforcement and taken to the hospital for a mental hold (Title 25).

Comments: Officer responded to collision “hit and run” in a local grocery store parking lot. Vehicle was parked and no witness’ to the collision were present. Case still under investigation.

Comments: Subject exposed his private parts in front of a person sitting inside a parked car while on a private lot open to the public. Subject was issued a citation.

Comments: A 19-year-old female attempted to gain entry to a local bar using a fictitious ID. She was released with a citation for possession of a false ID.

Comments: Female called police to report she had been involved in a physical altercation with her boyfriend. Police responded to the residence and found the boyfriend had assaulted the female. The male half was arrested for domestic battery.

Comments: Called to local business regarding a subject they wanted issued a trespass notice. Subject was found in possession of a fictitious ID card and a fictitious social security card. Subject was issued a citation and the requested trespass notice.

Comments: A 21-year-old male assaulted his cohabitant 23-year-old sister and was arrested for domestic violence.

Comments: Victim of a previous domestic violence case called to report the male half contacted her after he got out of jail. The male sent alarming messages in an attempt to get her to contact or be with the male. Officers located the male and reminded him of the release orders from court and checked his mental status. Case to County Attorney to review violation.

Comments: Officers responded to a REDDI report. The vehicle collided with a sign, parked in a local motel parking lot, and the driver stayed in the vehicle. Driver was contacted by officers and arrested for DUI.

Comments: This is an information only report. A woman reached out to pet a dog on an elevator and was bitten on the left hand.

Comments: Local resident reported an intoxicated person near a public business who had fallen and was stumbling. Officers arrived on scene and attempted to gather information from the individual. The individual was unable to provide a home address and was so intoxicated they were unable to stand. The individual was placed under arrest for public intoxication.

Comments: A local woman reported her car keys went missing after having work done on her vehicle at an auto shop. The woman believes the keys were just misplaced and Police have no theft suspects at this time.

Comments: A local woman reported that someone threw a rock through her car window and stole her suitcase out of the vehicle. Police are testing evidence for DNA and hope to identify the suspect.

Comments: Theft of five UPS packages from a driveway.

Comments: Local resident reported damage to their vehicle. The damage appeared to be consistent with an attempt to break into the vehicle. Officers arrived and investigated the scene, photos were taken of the damage. Nothing was missing from the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

Comments: Employee theft: Convenience store manager discovered merchandise missing during inventory. Checked surveillance cameras which showed the theft was committed by two employees.

Comments: Assisted outside agency in carrying out an arrest warrant. Subject arrested and will be extradited to the issuing agency.

Comments: Officers observed a vehicle that was parked in a back parking lot. When officers contacted the occupants the officers smelled the odor of marijuana. An investigation was done and one of the occupants received a citations.
