JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Here are some recent calls for service in Teton County/Jackson from the dispatch log. Names may be withheld at the request of law enforcement. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filing from the Teton County Attorney’s Office.

Comments: Two intoxicated males were confrontational with staff at a local bar after one of them was told to not stand on furniture. One of the males shoved a staff member and was arrested for unlawful contact and public intoxication. The other male was arrested for public intoxication.

Comments: A lady was approached by a male employee of a downtown business. The male tried to put some kind of skin cream on her face without her consent.

Comments: Two items were found on the public bus. These items were turned in to police and attempts to find the owners were unsuccessful. These items were submitted to evidence for safekeeping.

Comments: Officers responded to a 911 call of a male who was harassing the clerk at a local gas station. After officers arrived, the male refused to leave the premises and was arrested for trespassing.

Comments: Officers responded to a residential burglary in progress. A male subject was held at gunpoint by the homeowner until law enforcement arrived. After further investigation, the subject was arrested for Criminal Entry.

Comments: Officers responded to a report of fraud at a local bank. It was discovered someone had made copies of a check and used the checks to deposit into another account. The investigation is ongoing.

Comments: Officers responded to a collision hit and run. Two vehicles were backing out of a parking spot in a local store’s parking lot. The two vehicles bumped into each other and an individual driving a red truck fled the scene. No leads at this time.

Comments: Male subject went into business and spoke with an employee. While speaking with employee, the male bit one of the employee’s finger. There was no injury sustained in the bite, and the male received a citation for unlawful contact.

Comments: Officers responded to a reported disturbance at a local bar where a female subject was punched in the face. After investigating the incident, a female suspect was arrested for Battery.

Comments: A newer model iPhone was turned in to the Police Department. No owner has been identified and the iPhone was taken for sake keeping.

Comments: Officers observed a Puerto Rican male, who was in a verbal altercation with another male, draw a knife and threaten the other male. Officers found the suspect was also intoxicated by alcohol. The suspect was arrested for public intoxication and drawing a dangerous weapon.

Comments: Vehicle collision in a parking lot. One vehicle was unattended and the other fled the scene. Officers have a suspect and are looking through security footage.

Comments: A suspect walked two people back to their hotel room on Thursday night. The suspect left abruptly and one of victims noticed jewelry missing. There is a photo and first name of the suspect in question.

Comments: While on patrol officers observed a male individual that was yelling and rolling on the ground. Officers contacted the individual and it was discovered he was intoxicated. After an investigation the individual was arrested for public intoxication.

•TRAFFIC (CRIMINAL VIOLATION) – CRIMINAL TRAFFIC VIOLATION
Comments: A man riding a motorcycle was stopped for speeding (53 mph in 30 mph zone) and not using a turn signal. The man was found to be impaired by alcohol and was arrested for DUI. The man refused to submit to a breath test at the jail. A warrant was applied for and was granted, the results of the blood draw are pending.

Comments: A local bar reported an intoxicated male who was trying to enter the bar after being refused entrance. Officers arrived and the male continued refusing to leave after being trespassed by bar security. The male was subsequently arrested.

Comments: Officers were contacted about a male subject who refused to leave a local bar after being denied entry. Officers had to physically remove the subject from the bar as he resisted arrest. Subject was arrested for Trespassing and Interference with a Peace Officer.

Comments: Local resident reported stolen bicycles. Officers are in the process of gathering security camera footage and the investigation is ongoing.

Comments: Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to use its signal and rolled through a stop sign. It was found the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested for DUI and booked into the Teton County Jail.

Comments: Local resident reported a drunken suspect entered the residents vehicle and refused to get out. After telling the suspect to leave several times unsuccessfully the reporting party hit the suspect with a tennis racket and the suspect left. Officers arrived on scene and determined the suspect was intoxicated and unable to care for their needs and was placed under arrest. Officers also determined the reporting party acted in self defense.

Comments: Police were called when intoxicated subjects were not allowed entrance at a local bar and they became confrontational with bar staff. While issuing the subjects criminal trespass notices for the bar, one female physically interfered with officers during the course of their duties and had to be arrested.

Comments: Collision Hit and Run. Driver of Vehicle 1 turns into parking spot, scraping front passenger side bumper with drivers side rear door, causing paint transfer. Driver located and cited for Hit and Run.

Comments: Subjects heard a loud “Boom” and went outside. Subjects found their truck window to be shattered. No suspect located.

Comments: Local business employees reported an intoxicated individual bothering patrons, and being combative with the manager. As officers approached the suspect assaulted the manager. Officers arrived on scene and detained the suspect until evidence was gathered and the suspect was placed under arrest for public intoxication and battery.

Comments: Police received a third-hand report of a domestic incident between a male and female. Police investigated and determined that neither party was injured. Both the male and female reported that domestic violence did not occur. The male was found to have a warrant for failing to appear for an ordinance violation and was arrested.

•TRAFFIC (CRIMINAL VIOLATION) – CRIMINAL TRAFFIC VIOLATION
Comments: A car was pulled over for not activating headlights or taillights prior to driving at midnight. Driver was found to not have a valid driver’s license and was on probation for DUI. Driver was arrested for her fourth offense of driving without a valid driver’s license and probation violation.
