JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Here are some recent calls for service in Teton County/Jackson from the dispatch log. Names may be withheld at the request of law enforcement. •OBSTRUCT POLICE – RESISTING/INTERFERING W/POLICE
Comments: A local business called police and reported the attempted use of a false ID. Officers responded and located the suspect vehicle. As the vehicle stopped one of the occupants exited the vehicle and fled on foot without shoes. Officers caught up with the fleeing party. The individual who fled was arrested for interference with a police officer, being a minor under the influence of alcohol, and having multiple false ID’s.

Comments: On 27 June 2019 at 0514 hours Officers responded to suspicious persons call. When Officers arrived they found a suspect that had been sleeping in someone else’s house without their consent. Upon further investigation the subject had been intoxicated to a degree where he was too disoriented to be able to care for his own needs. The subject was arrested for Public Intoxication. At the jail the subject provided a PBT of .190%

Comments: Officer responded to stolen bicycle report. Bicycle was stolen from an alley and was not locked or secured. No leads at this time.

Comments: Officer’s responded to an intoxicated male subject who had fallen at the bus stop. Officer’s responded and the subject refused to cooperate with proceeding to a safe place. Subject was arrested for Public Intoxication.

Comments: On 27 June 2019 at approximately 1849 hours an Officer was stopped at an intersection and noticed a subject going next to a tree to urinate. The officer confronted the individual and noticed fresh liquid near the tree. The subject was also under the influence of alcohol and gave a portable breath test sample of .24%. The subject was arrested for urinating in public and public intoxication.

Comments: Police responded to a report of an animal attack in a local neighborhood. A man reported being attacked by two dogs while he was running. Police have identified and cited the dog owner.

Comments: Officers responded to a dispute between two parties. Both parties had vacated the area prior to Officer arrival. After questioning both parties it was determined that both individuals were responsible for battery and were cited.

Comments: Officer observed a driving violation. Officer initiated a traffic stop and deployed a K-9 which alerted and indicated on the vehicle. Narcotics located within the vehicle and driver arrested for possession.

Comments: Female called to report she was concerned about a friend and would like Police to check on her. Further investigation into the matter led to the filing of a missing persons report. Investigation is ongoing.

Comments: Driver was stopped for operating a vehicle without taillights. Driver admitted to consuming alcohol and was asked to perform field sobriety tests. Driver was subsequently arrested for DWUI. Driver submitted to breath test at the jail which showed he had a BAC of .15%.
