JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Police Department (JPD) is asking the public to respect the overnight on-street parking ban until it expires in mid-April, even if there is no snow on the ground.

During early mornings, the Town street crews have been sweeping up the sand that is used on snowy and icy roadways in the winter. A Thursday Facebook post by JPD says that empty streets make spring cleaning easier and more efficient.

“We put [gravel and sand] down to help people be safe, now that spring is here we have to clean it up,” the post reads. “Please respect the no on-street parking restrictions that end April 15.”
