JACKSON, Wyo. — Closures around West Gill Avenue might impact traffic flow in downtown Jackson for the next two weeks, according to an announcement by the Town of Jackson’s Engineering Department.

On Tuesday, July 11, the intersection of West Gill Avenue and Jackson Street will be closed for work on the West Gill Avenue Sanitary Sewer Service Replacement Project. Construction will focus on ridgeline excavation, with plans to store the necessary equipment and materials on the half-block north of Miller Park, the Town said in a press release.

Starting Wednesday, July 12, the half-block north of the Rusty Parrot will be closed. The Jackson Street intersection and the alley west of the Rusty Parrot will remain open. This portion of the project is expected to last through Friday, July 21, weather permitting.
