JACKSON, Wyo. — Despite the relentless winter, the Teton  County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department plans to start transitioning to spring for the Town and County parks.

Grooming

Grooming operations will be complete for the season by the end of the day Sunday, April 9.

Boat Ramps
  • The Wilson Boat Ramp is expected to be open by Sunday, April 15
  • The approved upland development and ramp improvements construction will begin this spring
  • The South Park Boat ramp will also open on April 15
  • Staff will coordinate with Bridger Teton National Forest (BTNF) to ensure access aligns with downriver boat ramps managed by BTNF
Seasonal Restrooms

Seasonal public restrooms in Town and County parks will open on  Monday, May 1.  

Special Events

The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April, 9 at 10 a.m. on the Town Square.

Fairgrounds Dog Park
  • The seasonal dog park at the Teton County Fairgrounds will be taken down during the last week of April. An official date will be announced on social media and the Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation website.
Parks and Recreation Winter Survey

The public is encouraged to participate in a survey that looks into this year’s winter service levels and improvements for next season. The survey is open until April 15 and can be accessed by visiting Teton County’s public engagement site at https://engagetetoncountywy.com/.
