Park Road closed due to collision

UPDATE: Drivers report the road is open again.

GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK, WY — US Highway 89 is temporarily closed north of Moose Junction due to a multi-vehicle collision.

GTNP spokesperson Denise Germann said officials are responding to a four-vehicle accident south of Teton Point and north of Moose Junction. That stretch of road is currently closed, but “should be open shortly,” Germann said.

One individual has been transported to the hospital via ambulance and is believed to have sustained minor injuries.

This is a developing story. We’ll update as more information is available.
