JACKSON, Wyo. — JH Public Art (JHPA) is having open calls for regional artists in Jackson Hole who are interested in becoming a community artist or be part of WildWalls’ Outdoor Mural Exhibit.

A JHPA community artist will create temporary public artwork within the community to bring joy, inspiration and creativity to residents while engaging them in the art-making process. Funding will be provided up to $7,000 for time and materials, assistance in project management and the logistics of community coordination, site permissions, advertising and the use of the MobileStudio.
“Art out in public creates opportunities for all to see through new perspectives, breaking down barriers and inviting participation and conversation,” Suzanne Morlock, a Jackson Hole based artist, says. “Many thanks to Jackson Hole Public Art for providing platforms for this to happen.”
Concepts for JHPA are due March 24. Any questions can be answered via Zoom at an open call information session on March 8 at 5 p.m. or in the link below:
Additionally, every year WildWalls promotes the important conservation work happening in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE) and brings the science and art communities together in a highly visual, interactive, educational and inspiring event. The WildWalls art show is accessible to thousands of people daily without the confines of a traditional venue, activating walls with vibrant artworks in iconic public settings.
Artists will receive $500 for use of their images in WildWalls Outdoor Mural Exhibit, and JHPA will do all the rest!
Artists interested in applying to WildWalls can join a Zoom open call information session on March 8 at 5 p.m. or click the link below:
