JACKSON, Wyo. — One22 is offering Fall Financial Empowerment Workshops from Oct. 15 to Nov. 6 to help community members increase financial knowledge and build strong foundations for financial stability.

According to a press release, these workshops will cover a variety of topics in both English and Spanish. The keynote presentation, “Money Stories: The Missing Checkbox in Your Financial Life,” will be given by Jen Hemphill, award-winning podcaster, AFC® (Accredited Financial Counselor), author and speaker, on Oct. 23 in English and Oct. 24 in Spanish.

One22 writes that Hemphill will explore the relationship people have with money and what the root causes of repeated money mistakes might be. Attendees will be able to identify their own money stories, how they can write new ones and how this can accelerate financial goals.

Other workshops will include “The Basics: Banking, Saving and Investing” with Ray Espinoza, “Savings and Debt: Making Your Money Work for YOU!” with Megan Smith and Kenia Stack and “Why Credit is Important: A User’s Guide” with Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Teton Area.

“Feedback from our Spring series helped guide us on the financial topics our community members are most interested in,” Director of Strategic Projects Isabel Zumel says in One22’s press release. “We are excited about these offerings and grateful for the wide depth of experience that each presenter brings with them.”

While all workshops are free, registration is required and can be found here along with additional information.
