JACKSON, Wyo. — On Thursday, April 16, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., One22 will host a free budgeting workshop at the Teton County Library in the Ordway Auditorium. The workshop will have two sessions: one in Spanish and another in English.

The workshop intends to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to “take an active role in their financial future” and will provide tools and strategies for attendees to be able to manage their finances.

Megan Smith of Deliberate Dollars and Maggie Ordeñez Rojas of Tanager Bank will run the sessions.

“So many in our community are working incredibly hard — often holding more than one job — just to stay afloat,” said Director of Community Engagement at One22 Seadar Rose Davis in a press release. “These workshops are intended to give people the financial skills and confidence to build a cushion of security, ensuring they have support to lean on when unexpected challenges arise.”

Attendees can expect to learn how to set financial goals that will support their long-term well-being. Those interested can register here.
