JACKSON, Wyo. — Old Bill’s Fun Run is this Saturday!
On Saturday, Sept. 9 at 9 a.m., the 27th annual Old Bill’s Fun Run will take place in person at the Jackson Elementary School field on Willow Street. Old Bill’s has raised over $228 million dollars for local nonprofits since its inception in 1997 and made philanthropy a household word in Jackson.
Old Bill’s will include a 5K and 10K run/walk, as well as a highly competitive Diaper Derby. Winners of each race will receive prize money to donate to their favorite nonprofits. Before and after the Fun Run, the community is invited to experience the Nonprofit Village featuring interactive, family-friendly activities hosted by 100+ nonprofits.
REGISTRATION
Registration is free. Registration for the timed 5K, 10K and Youth 5K ends on Friday, Sept. 8 at 5 p.m. Timed divisions are: Women’s 5K, Men’s 5K, Girls’ 5K (<14 years old), Boys’ 5K (<14 years old), Women’s 10K and Men’s 10K. Click here to register.
The top timed runners will win money to donate to their favorite Old Bill’s participating nonprofits. Advance registration is encouraged, however, you may register to walk or run in the untimed Fun Run on Run Day from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the big tent at Jackson Elementary School field. Bib Pickup: Timed runners may pick up their bibs at the Community Foundation (245 East Simpson Avenue) between September 5 and 8, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bibs will also be available to pick up on Run Day from 8 to 9 a.m. at the big tent in the center of the Jackson Elementary School fields.

Only walkers, runners, strollers and wheelchairs are permitted on the course. For safety, other wheeled transport (bicycles, skateboards, etc.) is prohibited. Old Bill’s welcomes dogs that are experienced and comfortable in crowds. Please keep them on a short leash and pick up after them. No other animals are allowed.

8:50 a.m. Color Guard Ceremony and National Anthem
9 a.m. Start gun! Run/walk begins
9:15 a.m. Snacks served under big tent in center of field and DJ plays
10:15 a.m. Race winners announced from MC stage
10:30 a.m. Diaper Derby (Sign up at Donations & Information Tent by 10 a.m.)
12 p.m. Event ends
PARKING
Free parking is available at the Home Ranch Welcome Center, located at the intersection of Cache Street and Gill Avenue, two blocks northwest of the event. Bike parking is located in front of the main entrance to Jackson Elementary School.
