JACKSON, Wyo. — To make Old Bill’s Fun Run a success, more than 350 volunteers are needed before and during Run Day, which is taking place on Saturday, September 9 at Jackson Elementary School Field.
Volunteers help with Run Day in a variety of ways:
- Route Team (cheering-on runners on the course)
- Traffic Team (ensuring cars don’t drive on closed streets)
- Photography Team (taking photos with your digital camera – amateurs welcome)
- Setup and Break-Down (moving chairs, tables, banners – heavy lifting required)
- Waste & Recycling Team (helping to manage trash and recycling responsibly on Run Day)
Consider volunteering with a group of friends or coworkers. Volunteering allows you to connect to the community and make it a better place. And volunteering is a two-way street: it can benefit you and your family as much as the event itself. Dedicating your time as a volunteer helps you make new friends, expand your network and boost your social skills.
Sign up before September 1 to be entered into a raffle for prize money to the Old Bill’s nonprofit of your choice. For more information or to sign up, visit oldbills.org/volunteer.
