YELLOWSTONE — Nearly all entrances and roads in Yellowstone National Park will close today, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. ahead of the Nov. 8 planned closure due to expected winter weather, announced the park.

The West, South, and East Entrances and all roads, except the road from the park’s north entrance through Mammoth Hot Springs to the Northeast entrance, will close today at 7 p.m.

Winter weather is expected today through Sunday, Nov. 7.

The park annually closes roads in early November to prepare for the winter season.  Snowmobile and snow coach travel will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 15.
