JACKSON, Wyo. — Today from 5 to 7 p.m. the National Museum of Wildlife Art will host a free community exhibition opening of Two of a Kind? The opening, aptly named “Pairs (Pears) & Prosecco,” explores comparison in artwork.

“The exhibition is an exercise in comparison,” the Wildlife Art website reads. “It invites visitors to consider pairs of artworks, drawn primarily from the Museum’s permanent collection, and contemplate the question posed by its title: are these artworks truly Two of a Kind?

Free pear frangipane tarts will be offered to attendees as well as complimentary prosecco or non-alcoholic sparkling drinks. The event will also have live music by Aaron Davis & the Mystery Machine and will include an animal pairing game; those participating in games will have the chance to win a pair of gloves.

Attendees are encouraged to explore all of the new exhibitions, which include “Two of a Kind?,” “Staff Picks” and “Tiffany Deater: What Lives Underneath.”
