JACKSON, Wyo. — Mountain Academy of Teton Science Schools has introduced Discover the Difference, a dynamic new initiative aimed at welcoming the community through engaging programs and educational opportunities. This program reflects the school’s commitment to experiential, hands-on learning while fostering deeper connections with local families.

A key component of Discover the Difference is an opportunity for K-7 students to attend the Jackson Campus tuition-free for the remainder of the school year. Families are only responsible for a nominal program fee that covers supplies and outdoor learning experiences, ensuring access to Mountain Academy’s unique place-based education model.

To kick off the initiative, the school has already hosted several engaging events. Tunes for Tots provided a music-focused experience, while the Maker Space Glider Challenge encouraged students to design and test their own gliders, promoting creativity and problem-solving skills. More programs are planned in the coming months, each designed to showcase Mountain Academy’s innovative approach to education.

With enrollment steadily growing, Mountain Academy remains dedicated to providing enriching, hands-on learning opportunities. By opening its doors to new families and inviting the community to experience its educational philosophy firsthand, the school continues to strengthen its role as a leader in experiential learning and community engagement.
