MOOSE, Wyo. — After nearly 40 years, Moosely Mountaineering has closed its doors.
The outdoor equipment shop, located in Grand Teton National Park sold camping, hiking, backpacking and climbing gear.
“After nearly 40 years of serving Jackson Hole locals and visitors alike, we have closed the doors at Moosely Mountaineering,” the store announced this afternoon.
“We’d like to thank Jeff Crabtree and Phil Leeds for their vision and the Dornan’s family for the opportunity of doing business in such a majestic location.”
The store’s partner Skinny Skis, located right off of Jackson’s Town Square remains open.
Skinny Ski’s co-owner Scott O’Brien explained that the closure occurred in the fall but wasn’t made public until today.
