JACKSON, Wyo. — A new five-hole disc golf course is now open at May Park and the opening celebration is Wednesday, Sept. 27.

Community members are invited to join Teton Disc Golf Club at May Park in east Jackson from 6 to 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, to play a round on the course and connect with other club members. Free discs will be given out to participants, while supplies last.

The course opened earlier this month and was created by the Teton Disc Golf Club and Jackson/Teton County Parks and Recreation Department, which manages the park.

The new course is beginner-friendly and the first disc golf course in Jackson. The Teton Disc Golf Club has also donated four sets of discs to the Teton County Library, so those interested in playing, can check out the equipment. The disc golf sets each include a carrying bag, three discs and QR codes with tips on how to throw.
