JACKSON, Wyo. — Pathway users should expect to see an increase in students on Tuesday and Wednesday as they will be participating in Friends of Pathways’ semi-annual iWalk, iBike, iBus to School Day.
The event aims to encourage healthy behavior and safe and sustainable transportation.
The event will be held for Wilson Elementary and Munger Mountain Elementary on Tuesday and Colter Elementary, Jackson Elementary and Jackson Hole Middle School on Wednesday.
Friends of Pathways released the following tips for a successful iWalk, iBike, iBus day:
- Dress appropriately for a cool, wet morning and please wear your helmet
- Safety check your bike before leaving home
- Plan your route to school with your family
- Parents are encouraged to participate as well!
“While we always encourage biking to school, Friends of Pathways recognizes that it may rain,” said Friends of Pathways. “If the weather is too wet don’t forget you can still participate by simply riding the bus!”
