JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Library will ring in 2022 on an optimistic note by adding weekday hours at the Jackson Main Library.

Beginning Jan. 3, 2022, the new hours will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m, Monday through Thursday. The closing time had previously been 6 p.m.

Friday hours remain 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday hours remain 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Library Director Kip Roberson put forth the hourly extension plan to the Library Board at its October meeting, with the stipulation that staffing would make the increase in hours possible.

Alta Branch Library will close one hour later Wednesdays; its open hours are Tuesday and Thursday 12 to 6 p.m., Wednesday 12-7 p.m., and Friday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Community members can find Teton County Library online, on the phone at 307-733-2164 or at 125 Virginian Lane, Jackson, WY, and 50 Alta School Road, Alta, WY.
