JACKSON, Wyo. — Ever been caught unprepared?
The Teton County Library will host a free story slam at the Virginian Lodge on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m. for adults ages 21 and up.
The theme of this slam will be “unprepared.” Interested participants will throw their name into a bucket, and 10 storytellers will be selected to perform. Stories must be true, about the theme, about the storyteller, shorter than five minutes and delivered without notes.
Storytellers who perform will win a free slice of pizza. A panel of judges will award prizes to the top three storytellers. Audience members are also welcome to participate by contributing themed Mad Libs that emcee Jeff Moran will read aloud between stories.
