JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County Library will host two free story slams this summer, starting tomorrow. The first will be held tomorrow, July 28, at 7 p.m., in the library yard. The theme for tomorrow’s event is “animal.”

On August 18, at 7 p.m., attendees can gather at the Center for the Arts amphitheater for the second installment of the summer story slam series. The theme for the second story slam is yet to be determined.

Participants can put their names in a bucket for a chance to tell a true, personal, five-minute-long story relating to the theme. Judges will award prizes to three of the storytellers.

As always, audience members who don’t want to tell a story can still participate by submitting themed mad libs that will be read between stories by emcee Jeff Moran.

Note that alcohol is not permitted on the Library property.
