JACKSON, Wyo. — This winter, Teton County Library, Coombs Outdoors and Teton Literacy Center are hosting a four part series to assist teens in grades 6 to 12 build real life skills.

The first evening in the series, Skill Up! Teen Financial Literacy Night, will discuss how teens can learn tips and gain tools for planning finances. It will be held in the Ordway Auditorium at Teton County Library on Thursday, Jan. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m.

“Budgeting and financial wellness are crucial skills that if learned early become good lifelong habits,” Teton County Library said via press release.

During Thursday’s event, the first area of focus will highlight student and auto loans, according to Teton County Library.

Participants will be offered free raffle prizes and snacks.
