JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County Library (TCL) is offering a variety of programs this month to keep the mind sharp.
Tonight, the library will bring back its popular High Velocity Trivia night. Bring a team to answer fast-paced rounds of questions from 6:30 to 8 p.m. TCL touts it as an evening for “folks who love the trivia part of trivia night.” The event will take place in the Ordway Auditorium.
The next evening, Thursday, Jan. 15, TCL will host an adult game night from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Also occurring in the Ordway Auditorium, it is a chance to bring a favorite game or play one from the library collection — Mahjong, chess, Scrabble, Settlers of Catan, cards and more. Attendees are welcome to come alone or bring friends.
Next week, the Cabin Fever Story Slam returns to the Virginian Lodge. On Tuesday, Jan. 20, listen to the local storytelling competition, or bring a story to tell! The event begins at 7 p.m. and this month’s theme is “Cool.” Competitors tell a true, personal story based on the theme, in five minutes or less, for a chance to win prizes. It’s a great place to hear some local lore.
