JACKSON, Wyo. — “Wingardium Leviosa!”

The Teton County Library is bringing Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to Jackson Hole this Halloween season. Three free Harry Potter-themed programs are coming to the library in October, with events for different age groups.

Advance registration is required for both A Night at Hogwarts (Oct. 26) and Harry Potter Trivia for Adults (Oct. 11). Registration will open on the library’s website at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 for A Night at Hogwarts, which is expected to fill up very quickly, the library says.

Applications are available online only at tclib.org/hogwarts for kids aged 8-18. Registration is limited to the first 80 completed applications. Those who don’t have access to internet can use a public computer in the library to fill out the online application. The event itself takes place Saturday, Oct. 26.

Harry Potter Trivia for adults
Friday, Oct. 11 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Harry Potter extreme trivia tests the knowledge of teams of up to four people, aged 18 and up. Registration is required and is open beginning Friday, Oct. 4 at tclib.org/hptrivia.

Harry Potter Family Day
Saturday, Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Families are invited to visit the Youth Wing, transformed to Diagon Alley for the day with fun activities.

A Night at Hogwarts
Saturday, Oct. 26 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

This after-hours event brings the halls of the fictional school alive for kids aged 8-18, with a sorting hat ceremony, Hogwarts classes, a few brooms and lots of magical details.
