JACKSON, Wyo. — There are very few places in the world where you can compete in a non-sanctioned downhill race. We invite you to check it off your bucket list on March 11-13 at the Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club’s FCExcavation JACKSON HOLE DOWNHILL.

The Jackson Hole Downhill is hosted on Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s Crags-to-Moran racecourse off Teton Lift. The race hosts skiers and snowboarders ages 12 and up as well as current and former World Cup racers. Competitors can race in up to three of the following categories: Pro, Am, Junior, Snowboard, Telemark, and “Fat & Baggy,” where a racer’s clothes must flap in the wind and their skis must be at least 86mm underfoot.

The Jackson Hole Downhill is open to anyone interested in going fast and offers an equal cash purse for the women’s and men’s pro divisions. Spectators are encouraged to watch the race from multiple viewing areas along the course accessed from JHMR’s Apres Vous lift. (Don’t forget your cowbell!)

Make sure to catch Pro Divison racers on Sunday morning starting at 9:45am. The Pro Division features the Downhill’s Team Race where professional racers from around the world will be charging down the mountain. Invited VIP racers include Dustin Cook, Abby Ghent, Marco Sullivan, Jenny Allen, Anna Marno, Rok Perko, Keith Moffat, Devin Delaney, and others. Read the VIP bios at jhskiclub.org/downhill.
