JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton Conservation District Water Resources Specialist David Lee will share tips for keeping local waterways clean at the free event, “Are You Trout Friendly? Best Lawn care Practices for Healthy Streams and Rivers,” at Snake River Brewing on Monday, July 14, at 7 p.m.

The Tap Into Science event series, which features presentations by local scientists, is hosted by Protect Our Water Jackson Hole (POWJH) and Snake River Brewing.

“Excess nutrients from landscaping practices are impacting our waterways,” POWJH said via Facebook. “Join us on the Brewpub lawn to learn about how we can collectively help improve water quality for the health of the plants, wildlife and humans that rely on clean water.”

The event will be held on the Brewpub lawn and outdoor seating options could be limited, so be sure to bring a camp chair or blanket.
