JACKSON, Wyo. — Jim Rooks is a fifth-generation native of Jackson Hole who grew up one block off of the Town Square. Jim’s family moved to the valley in 1906 to homestead, and his great grandmother was Genevieve Van Vleck (i.e. Cafe Genevieve – Save the Block).
Genevieve was a member of the first all-women town council in 1920, and now 100 years later, Jim hopes to carry on his family’s legacy and join the Jackson town council!

As town councilman, Jim will represent the people of Jackson, anchoring his legislation and vote to the values of the Constitution, Cooperation and Community. To learn more about Jim’s platform, visit votejimrooks.com.
