Learn how to source animal fats in free video with Sweet Cheeks Meats

JACKSON, Wyo. — Slow Food in the Tetons is offering one free online video every week until mid-September in its Six Weeks of Slow Food Series to inspire you to eat within our local food system.

This week, learn how Sweet Cheeks Meats — a whole animal butcher shop — turns fats into nutrient-rich ingredients for all-natural tallow balm and biscuit recipes!

Slow Food runs The People’s Market, Blair and May Park Community Gardens, The Slow Food Farm Stand & Online Marketplace, year-round kids summer camps and cooking classes, the Veggie Voucher Program, Farm to Fork Festival and more!

Now more than ever is a critical time to build a stronger, healthier and more resilient food system. If you support the work of Slow Food in the Tetons, please remember to donate through Old Bill’s Fun Run.

Visit Sweet Cheeks Meats this Friday, August 21 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., and proceeds from your lunch purchase will go to Slow Food in the Tetons!
